Migration to OpenImmo connections
Connections were introduced in Version 3.0.0 of the OpenImmo extension. Connections make it possible to display property from different OpenImmo software in Typo3.
If you are using an older version of OpenImmo you will need to migrate the interface configurations. This section will guide you through.
Go to the list module in the TYPO3 backend and activate the data container that contains your real estate. Delete any real estate that is already in the data container. If there is a lot of real estate use the Clipboard in multi-selection mode to delete many data records at a time.
Old import files and directories can then be removed. These are files and directories under
uploads/tx_openimmo/. When a new connection is created this is where new directories are automatically created. We can remove old data.Now, uninstall the OpenImmo extension (and the PRO version if applicable). You can upload the zip file as delivered into the extension manager.
Now that you have reset your OpenImmo configuration and updated the extension you can set up the new connections. You can read up on how to do this in the Einrichtung / Connections section.
Finally, perform a FULL import per connection in the associated OpenImmo software.
Now your website should run with the new connection..
