Usage
Setting up a vehicle quick search
The vehicle search extension comes with a quick search plugin which you can place on your homepage or sidebar. To set up the quick search:
- Open the Page module and select the page in the site page tree where you want to put the quick search.
- Create a new content element of type plugin and select the plugin Fahrzeugsuche (Schnellsuche).
- No other plugin settings need to be changed.
So that the quick search engine knows where to send the search parameters, set the vehicle search page uid in the themes.configuration.pages.fahrzeugsuche.searchTypoScript constant.
Vehicle teaser setup
The vehicle search extension includes a teaser plugin for the homepage and optional sidebar, which can be placed on any page. Set it up as follows:
- Open the Pages module and select the page in the page tree where you would like to place the vehicle teaser.
- Create a new content element of type Plugin and select the Vehicle search for mobile.de (teaser) plugin.
- The plugin settings can be used to configure the set of vehicles that are shown.

Warning: if no seller inventory key is set on mobile.de, then the mobile.de vehicle id will be used here.
TYPO3 Fahrzeugsuche
Advertise all your vehicles on your TYPO3 website. Our vehicle search uses the Search-API from mobile.de to read in your vehicles. You don't need to do anything else - the vehicle listings on your website will always be up to date. There's a connector for Autoscout24 + eAutoseller as well!
